For instance, if your garbage is normally collected on Fridays, it will be collected on Saturday.

The inclusion of recyclable materials, bulk metal, electronic products or green residues with household garbage is prohibited.
Green residues have to be placed in brown bins, biodegradable paper bags or containers clearly marked with a V (for “vert”).
No more than six containers, bags or bulk household waste items will be collected per household on any given collection day.
A two-compartment truck collects the materials, alternating weekly between:
compostable materials / recyclable materials, and
compostable materials / household garbage
Building owners will have to provide tenants with the necessary tools for the collection of recyclable materials.
General information on residual materials collections
Place your household waste in bins or garbage bags; the maximum weight for these containers lift manually must not exceed 25 kilograms. Containers must be watertight and equipped with handles. Garbage bins on wheels are also permitted as long as they can be lifted mechanically. Place them at the edge of the road or sidewalk, with the wheels facing the house.
Put all of your containers out after 7 p.m. the night before, or no later than 7 a.m. on collection day.
Garbage cans and bins left on the street or sidewalk interfere with street cleaning and snow clearing operations. In order to avoid impeding these operations, it is important to place these containers inside your property line.
If your containers are not emptied or picked up, leave them next to the street and make a request.
