The revision process: Let's shape tomorrow!

Gatineau is currently revising its land use and development plan. This document sets out the guidelines for organizing and developing the territory over the next 40 years. This is an important undertaking, and we invite you take part in the discussions!

This revision, which started in 2011, will address themes ranging from the environment and the economy, to land use, transportation and active mobility as well as urban growth. In June 2013, we will be heading into the fourth and final stage of the processus.

The plan is expected to be adopted in the fall of 2013, and implemented in 2014. After that, Gatineau will start reviewing the land use plan and by-laws to bring them in line with the new orientations set out in the land use and development plan
