The Issues

Police officers

  • On September 28, 2011, Ville de Gatineau and the Fraternité des policiers et policières de Gatineau renewed the group's two collective agreements (the first one from January 1, 2007 to December 31, 2010 and the second one from January 1, 2011 to December 31, 2014).

Firefighters

  • On September 22, 2010, Ville de Gatineau and the Association des pompiers et pompières de Gatineau renewed the group's collective agreement for five years (from January 1, 2008 to December 31, 2015).

Profesionnal

  • On March 26, 2013, Ville de Gatineau and the Regroupement des professionnels de Gatineau renewed the group's collective agreement for two years (from January 1, 2013 to December 31, 2014)

White collar workers

  • On November 22, 2011, Ville de Gatineau and the Syndicat des cols blancs renewed the group's collective agreement for seven years (from January 1, 2008 to December 31, 2014)

Blue collar workers

  • On January 27, 2010, Ville de Gatineau and the Syndicat des cols bleus de Gatineau renewed the group's collective agreement for five years (from January 1, 2008 to December 31, 2012).

Other unions

  • On January 24, 2012, Ville de Gatineau and the union representing the school crossing guards renewed the group's collective agreement for four years (from July 1, 2011 to June 30, 2015)
  • Ville de Gatineau and the union representing casual employees in Gatineau's aquatic sector (Canadian Union of Public Employees (CUPE)) signed the first collective agreement for this group on April 6, 2010. The collective agreement for these recently unionized employees will be in force from April 6, 2010 to April 6, 2013.
