This process, initiated by Quebec's ministère de la Sécurité publique, is part of a harmonized planning effort that enables Gatineau to work with several partners on fine-tuning its preparations and harmonizing its planning efforts with all of the stakeholders affected by a major disaster. This work gives municipal authorities the opportunity to be better prepared to ensure your safety in the event of exceptional flooding or a dam break.
