Municipal Building Closures - The City is putting its shoulder to the wheel to relieve traffic congestion tomorrow
Gatineau, May 7, 2017. – Due to the floods, Ville de Gatineau is closing some municipal buildings. Municipal employees who work in these buildings are asked to stay home. The purpose of this decision is to relieve traffic congestion.
All operational and administrative employees assigned to emergency measures and services must report to work as planned, regardless of their place of work.
The following municipal buildings are closed on the day of Monday, May 8
● | All branches of the public library |
● | Centre sportif, Centre aquatique Lucien-Houle and Centre aquatique Paul-Pelletier |
● | Maison du citoyen, except for the municipal court |
However, all employees assigned to emergency measures and services must report to work, regardless of their place of work.
Activities scheduled to take place in these buildings are cancelled for the day.
The hearings (trials) before the municipal court at the Maison du citoyen and at the Édifice des Pionniers are maintained. Only the administrative offices from the clerk's office are closed.
The usual working hours are maintained for municipal employees working in other municipal buildings.
