To enrol in a program, you need a fitness room membership. To pay by the day, check with the sports centre reception desk.
* Included with a one-month or more membership. Only good once.
** Option of having a personalized home training program.

  1. Introduction to training: A 30-minute session, including an explanation of how the machines work, the fitness room rules, and a list of fitness goals for the member.
  2. First steps toward fitness: All-in-one service including an initial fitness evaluation, a personalized training program, and follow-up along the way.
  3. Personalized program: Development of a training program based on the member's needs, and demonstration of the program in the fitness room.
  4. Physical fitness evaluation: Evaluation of the different components of physical condition (cardiovascular fitness, muscle strength and flexibility). This service helps update the member's physical fitness.
  5. Supervised training: A 60-minute session to take the member through the training steps.
  6. Assessment of body composition: Taking of anthropometric measurement of the person: height, BMI (body mass index), measurement of the body circumferences and fat percentage.

  • All registrations are arranged at the sports centre reception desk.
  • The fitness room is supervised, and includes the following equipment: treadmills, stationary and elliptical bikes, free weights and Atlantis fitness machines.
  • A kinesiologist is responsible for developing the training programs, thereby ensuring adapted and safe exercises.

Fitness room rules

The following fitness room rules are designed to ensure that clients can train in a pleasant and cordial environment:

  • Use of any given cardio-vascular machine is limited to 30 minutes during peak hours.
  • Machines are to be used on a rotation or shared basis.
  • Weights are to be put back in their place after use.
  • Equipment is to be cleaned out of consideration for the next user. Clients must bring their own towel.
  • No street shoes allowed. Clients must at all times wear shoes with clean soles. Boots, clothing and coats must be left in the locker room.
  • Exercise wear is required (jeans, undershirts and sandals are prohibited).
  • Bottled water is permitted. No food, drinks or glass containers.
  • Courtesy and respect is to be shown toward other users; no foul language or shouting that could distract or offend others.
  • No cell phones.

Management reserves the right to refuse access to the fitness room to, or to expel anyone who contravenes the above rules, or whose conduct is deemed detrimental to the safety and well-being of other users.

Note: locks can be purchased or rented at the reception desk.
