Located at the Ateliers du Théâtre de l'Île
Artiste: Sylvain Potvin
The artist-sculptor drew his inspiration from the core function of the building into which his work is integrated, to unveil, like a mystery, the creators of theatre: authors, actors, directors, stage hands, costume makers, scenic artists, lighting technicians and makeup artists, as they emerge from the 38-facet round cube.
Attracted to the hand movements of the actors and a carefully arranged selection of photographs from the Théâtre de l'Île archives, he pays tribute to the actors, whose performance invites the audience to discover key moments in drama or comedy.
