Use the notification system to receive urgent information – that is of direct interest to you – from Ville de Gatineau, wherever you are, for free*.

When you sign up for the notification system, you can select:

  • the topics about which you would like to receive notifications (e.g. boil water advisories, winter parking bans and spring floods); and
  • the manner in which you would like to be notified (e.g. by e-mail, phone or text message (SMS))*.

Important: even if you were already signed up for the notification system, you must sign up again. Unlike the former system, for which you only had to provide a phone number or an e-mail address, this one requires that you provide all of your contact information. We need this information to properly geolocate the notifications.
