A Greener City in the Palm of your Hand!

On November 18, 2008, Gatineau adopted its Environmental Policy with a view to moving the city along on the path towards sustainable development.

A human mosaic!

To mark its partners' involvement in the process, Gatineau mandated Jean René, Artistic Director of Mozaïk humaine, to design a work from a photo of a fern by nature artist Louise Tanguay.

The faces of the hundred or so guests (residents and representatives of organizations, institutions and businesses), who were photographed at the Policy's launch, have been transformed into 4,200 pixels for Mozaïk écologik 2009.
