Registration

Child's age

These camps are for children between 5 (at September 30, 2022) and 12 years of age. As a minimum, they must be attending kindergarten full-time at the time of registration.

Registration on the citizen portal

Registration for the day camps is through the citizen portal. To speed things up during the registration, it is strongly recommended that you create your profile in the citizen portal before the registration period and renew your Accès Gatineau card if applicable, also through the citizen portal. You can add your family members to your profile.

In addition to navigating tile by tile, once your selected activities have been placed in your basket, they will be reserved for you for 15 minutes to simplify the process and optimize your experience on our platform. You can access the citizen portal at portailcitoyen.gatineau.ca.

You haven't used it yet? Go to portailcitoyen.gatineau.ca right now and follow the registration instructions.

How to register?

To register for activities, you must have an account on the citizen portal. It is recommended that you set up your account and profile before the registration period to save time when reserving your activity. You can add your spouse and children to your account.

To register online, you need the following documents:

  • your valid Accès Gatineau card;
  • the telephone number associated with your Accès Gatineau card;
  • your email address; and
  • a Visa or MasterCard credit card or a prepaid card for the online payment.

Go to portailcitoyen.gatineau.ca.

STEP 2 – Connection

STEP 4 – Search

STEP 5 – Selection

Select the activity of your choice, and add it to your basket by clicking on the +. In the window that pops up, select a person in your file or manually enter information on another person. Once selected, your activities will be kept in your file until you pay. Click on “Faire une autre inscription” to select another activity or on “Finaliser l'inscription” to proceed to the next step.

STEP 6 – Validation

STEP 7 – Payment

To pay online, use a Visa or MasterCard credit card or a prepaid card. To make the transaction, click on the box to accept the terms of use for online purchases. Click on “Confirmer”.

If there are two registration waves, in the first one, you can choose “Payer plus tard”. In that case, you can download a confirmation of registration, which will be sent to you by email. To proceed with your payment before the deadline, you can connect with your citizen portal account and pay online using a credit card or a prepaid card, or by contacting the service centre for your sector.

To apply a credit to your account when paying your bill, select the "Pay later" option. Then contact your service center to apply the credit to your bill, and pay before the deadline.

STEP 8 – Receipt

You will automatically be sent a receipt at the email address indicated in your citizen portal account. You can use that receipt for tax purposes.

Queue

During very busy periods, to ensure fair treatment for those in the queue, the registration site will close at 5 p.m. The principle of first come, first served will apply when it reopens at 6 p.m.

Under an agreement between the municipalities, the residents of L'Ange-Gardien are entitled to the same benefits as Gatineau's for the activities and programs offered by the latter's Service des loisirs, des sports et du développement des communautés, its Service des arts, de la culture et des lettres and its partner organizations.

  • credit card (VISA, MasterCard or prepaid); and
  • deferred payment (available only during the first wave of registration).

You don't have a credit card? Click on deferred payment, obtain your confirmation of registration, and go to a service centre to pay before 4 p.m. on May 23.
