Willingly throwing or permitting someone to throw a ball or other projectile onto a property without the consent of the owner of that property constitutes a nuisance.

Failure on the part of an owner, user or operator of a public or private property to take appropriate measures to prevent balls or other projectiles from being repeatedly thrown or projected outside of their property in a manner that could endanger people or property constitutes a nuisance.

When balls or projectiles repeatedly land on their properties, residents may fill out the following forms. These forms will guide you on the steps you should take. It should be noted that every request filed with Gatineau must be documented and must stem from a voluntary and repeated occurrence.
