This program, which is run by the Société d'habitation du Québec, provides financial assistance to people with disabilities to help them pay for the work involved in making their homes more accessible and adapted to their needs. There is a waiting list for this program.

Target clients

People with disabilities who are limited in carrying out their day-to-day activities, regardless of their income.

Financial assistance

The financial assistance covers the cost of work recognized by the Société d'habitation du Québec. The subsidy can be as high as $16,000 for a household, regardless of the type of dwelling. In some cases, the financial assistance can be topped up.

Eligible works

The Société d'habitation du Québec determines which works are eligible, based on a report by an occupational therapist. It is important to note that the program is not intended to indirectly finance renovations.
