Preventive boil water advisory for approximately 400 users in the Gatineau sector

Gatineau, October 18, 2022. – Ville de Gatineau is issuing a preventive boil water advisory for approximately 400 users in the Gatineau sector. There may be a drop in water pressure or a water interruption for homes in the sector. This preventive advisory is being issued as a result of a watermain break this morning on boulevard La Vérendrye West near the intersection with montée Paiement. The advisory will remain in effect until further notice.

The affected residences are located between 1 and 95 Coteau Street.

If you are in the area covered by the boil water advisory

●	Affected individuals and establishments must boil their tap water for one minute before consuming it until further notice.

Once the preventive boil water advisory has been lifted: - Open all cold water taps and let the water run for one minute or until it is cold before using it. The same applies to water fountains. - Discard any ice made with tap water while the advisory was in effect. - For additional information: gatineau.ca or 311.
