Partial lifting of the preventive boil water advisory for Buckingham sector
Gatineau, September 8, 2023. – Ville de Gatineau informs residents that the preventive boil water advisory in effect since September 7 for the Buckingham sector has been partially lifted.
The area that is still affected by the preventive boil water advisory can be seen at the end of this release (area in red).
Residents affected by the lifting of the advisory (area in green) should turn on all taps and let the water run for one minute or until it gets cold before using it. The same procedure should be followed for drinking fountains and any ice made during the advisory period should be discarded.
