Gatineau, August 29, 2014. – Ville de Gatineau is issuing a preventive boil water advisory for the Buckingham and Masson-Angers sectors as a result of a chlorination problem at the water treatment plant. This advisory is in effect until further notice.
Therefore until further notice, before consuming your water please boil it for one minute. Tap water may be slightly discoloured. If so, please open the cold water tap and let the water run until it is once again clear.
Ville de Gatineau will notify residents as soon as the preventive boil water advisory has been lifted.
