For the residents of the streets listed at the bottom of this page, due to the cold weather in the region over the past weeks, Gatineau is issuing these preventive measures against the freezing of your water service.

As a preventive measure, we advise you to leave the tap water running slightly (approximately .5 cm or ¼ inch, about the size of a straw) until the end of March. Even if the weather turns mild until that date, it is important to leave the water running.

However, should the water service freeze or should there be any related issues, do not hesitate to contact the CANU or 3-1-1 service.
