Gatineau, March 5, 2014. – Ville de Gatineau is issuing a preventive boil water advisory for about 1,000 residents of Limbour District in the Gatineau sector due to a watermain break. This advisory is in effect now.

To complete the repair, there will be a temporary interruption of the water supply for residences the following streets:

Rue Saint-Louis : all residences north of 2695, rue Saint-Louis;
Avenue des Grands-Jardins;
Rue du Glissoir;
Rue de Port-Daniel;
Impasse d'Anticosti;
Rue de la Pointe-Pelée;
Rue de Dunière;
Rue de la Pointe-Taillon;
Impasse d'Aiguebelle et;
Avenue du Bic.

Therefore, and until further notice, residents of the above streets must boil their water for one minute before consumption. Tap water may be slightly coloured. If so, please open the cold water tap and let the water run until it is once again clear.

Ville de Gatineau will notify residents as soon as the preventive boil water advisory will be lifted.
