Preventive boil water advisory and possible water supply interruption for part of Gatineau sector
Gatineau, June 10, 2022. – Ville de Gatineau is issuing a preventive boil water advisory for approximately 8,000 users in part of the Gatineau sector. This preventive boil water advisory is being issued due to a water main break in the area.The advisory is in effect until further notice.
Furthermore, a drop in water pressure or an interruption in the water supply is possible.

The residences affected are located: - South of Highway 50; - East of Gatineau Avenue; - North of La Vérendrye Boulevard; - West of Main Street.
If you are in the area affected by the boil water advisory

Affected residents and institutions must boil their water for one minute before consuming it.
●
Please continue to do so until Gatineau lifts the preventive boil water advisory.
●
After the preventive boil water advisory is lifted: - open all cold water taps and let the water run for one minute or until it is cold, and do the same for all water fountains; and - toss out any ice made with tap water during the advisory. - for additional information: gatineau.ca or 311.
