Preventive boil water advisory in the Aylmer sector
Gatineau, March 6th, 2024. – Gatineau is issuing a preventive boil water advisory for a part of Aylmer sector. Residents are asked to boil their water for one minute before consuming it, until further notice. This measure has been taken following a failure of electrical equipment during weekly maintenance.

If you are in the area affected by the preventive boil water advisory
Affected individuals and establishments will be required to boil their water for one minute before consumption until the advisory is lifted.
After the preventive boil water advisory is lifted, you will need to: – Open all cold water faucets and let the water run for one minute or until it becomes cold before using it.
