Lifting of the preventive boil water advisory for a portion of the Buckingham sector

Gatineau, May 1, 2026. – Ville de Gatineau informs residents that the preventive boil water advisory in effect since April 29 for the Buckingham sector has been lifted.

• Residents affected by the lifting of the advisory (area in green) should turn on all taps and let the water run for one minute or until it gets cold before using it. The same procedure should be followed for drinking fountains and any ice made during the advisory period should be discarded.
