Resumption of activities by the Municipal Court

Gatineau, June 1, 2020. – Ville de Gatineau Municipal Court hearings resumed today, as authorized by the Court of Quebec. All necessary measures were set in place by staff working on resuming activities under COVID-19:

- residents must go to the main entrance of Maison du citoyen, where a security guard will admit them;
- residents must have their notice of hearing or their subpoena in hand, and only those who have been summoned and their witnesses, if any, will be authorized to enter;
- residents will be taken to the waiting room set up for them, and the procedures will be explained to them; and
- Municipal Court activities will run in accordance with the sanitary measures issued by Santé publique.
