Gatineau, October 22, 2013. – Anyone who cannot vote on November 3 has the option of voting in the offices of the returning officer or in the advance poll.

This is the first time that Gatineau will have voting in the offices of the returning officer. This will take place on October 25, 28 and 29, from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m., and on October 30, from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m., in Maison du citoyen, 25 rue Laurier, salle Lafontaine, 1st floor.

These four additional days of voting will help boost the turnout in Gatineau for the municipal election.

The other option will be to vote in the advance poll on Sunday, October 27, from noon to 8 p.m., in the locations indicated on the reminder notices mailed out to electors. The advance polling stations are handicapped accessible.

In order to ensure that the voting proceeds quickly and efficiently, Gatineau asks that electors bring their reminder notice and a valid piece of ID.
