Temporary and partial opening of Gatineau splash pads

Gatineau, May 27, 2020. – The Direction de santé publique de l'Outaouais has given Ville de Gatineau the go-ahead to temporarily open its splash pads because of the heat wave.

Residents will get to cool off and have some fun at some of the splash pads, which will open progressively starting this evening. In order to comply with Santé publique's instructions, as soon as the heat wave is over, the splash pads will have to be closed. Thus, they will be open until 8 p.m. Friday.

Given the current pandemic, it is important to follow the physical distancing measures. Gatineau will continue to monitor the parks to enhance public awareness in that regard.

Please note that the play structures remain off limits.
The list of splash pads that will be opened will be posted at gatineau.ca shortly.
