Unofficial result – Referendum – Special construction, modification or use of a building (PPCMOI) at 20 rue Main

Gatineau, April 10, 2022. – The referendum on an animal aquaculture, vegetable production and community outreach and resource centre at 20 rue Main was held today. Of the 103 people qualified to vote, 35 cast their ballots against the project. In total, 65 voters cast their votes, a participation rate of 63%. It should be noted that the result is unofficial, and will be confirmed tomorrow afternoon, April 11.

• Residents had the choice of voting for or against the project.

• Given that there were more votes against it, the project as proposed by the developer cannot proceed.
