Spring flood: Gatineau creates a new tool for providing up-to-date statistics

Gatineau, 30 avril 2019. - Ville de Gatineau invites the media to check the new section entitled Statistics for the Media on its 2019 spring flood Web page.

This section contains the following figures:
- number of flood victims registered (total, adults, children and households);
- number of sandbags distributed throughout the territory;
- number of notices issued by the fire department (Service de sécurité incendie de Gatineau - SSIG); and
- number of evacuations assisted by the SSIG and the Royal Canadian Navy.

For the latest figures, go to gatineau.ca/flood. The information is updated around 5 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. daily.
