Gatineau is holding a sculpting contest as part of the 2016 Snowflake Kingdom: Une sculpture professionnelle chez moi!
Gatineau, January 14, 2016. – Gatineau is holding Une sculpture professionnelle chez moi! as part of the 38th Winterlude Snowflake Kingdom event. The contest winner will get their very own snow sculpture made by a professional sculptor on their property.

The snow sculpture will be made on the winner's property on Saturday, February 6 by Gatineau sculptor Jocelyn Galipeau.

The contest is being run on the Snowflake Kingdom's Facebook page.

In order to enter, write about your best moment at the Winterlude Snowflake Kingdom.

The deadline for entering the Une sculpture professionnelle chez moi! contest is 4 p.m. on January 28, 2016.

The sculptor will be Gatineau multidisciplinary artist Jocelyn Galipeau, whose reputation extends across Canada. He is particularly well known for his mastery of aerography. One of his creations is the mural of the swimmer in front of Gatineau's centre sportif.
Recognized for its quality of life, Gatineau is a city of 298,000 inhabitants. It is located on the north shore of the Ottawa River, and extends east and west of the Gatineau River.
