Gatineau, Tuesday, May 22, 2012. – Gatineau is reminding the public that the work on replacing the water supply and sewer pipes and rebuilding the roads will begin today. This project will take three months, and will apply to the following street sections:
• rue Church, between Bélanger and James;
• rue James, between Church and Roméo-Lorrain; and
• rue Bélanger, between Church and Roméo-Lorrain.
While the work is underway, these streets will be open to local traffic only. For safety reasons, there will be no parking in the construction areas. Gatineau urges all affected drivers and residents to be cautious and to comply with the temporary signs.
The work schedule may be revised due to inclement weather.
