ROAD CLOSURES IN THE HULL SECTOR
FOR THE OTTAWA MARATHON

Gatineau, May 27, 2011. – The Ottawa Marathon is being held on Sunday, May 29, from 6 a.m. to 11 a.m., as part of the Ottawa Race Weekend. The half-marathon and marathon courses include certain streets in the Hull sector, which will be closed for brief periods of time during the races.

The temporary road closures are as follows:

• Chaudières Bridge
• Rue Laurier, between rues Eddy and Montcalm
• Montcalm, between boulevard Alexandre-Taché and rue Wellington
• Rue Wellington, between rues Montcalm and rue Laval
• Rue Laval, between rue Wellington and promenade du Portage
• Promenade du Portage, between rue Laval and rue de l'Hôtel-de-Ville
• Rue de l'Hôtel-de-Ville, between promenade du Portage and rue Laurier
• Rue Laurier, between rue de l'Hôtel-de-Ville and boulevard des Allumettières
• Alexandra bridge

Please note that parking will be prohibited on these streets during the event. Also, Gatineau Police Services will be directing traffic on each street and at each intersection along the course.
