Sand bags collection
Gatineau, June 1, 2022. – The City reminds the public that sand bags will be collected on Thursday, June 2 and 9. They must be placed on the street, at the curb, to allow circulation of emergency vehicles.
After June 9, it will be up to residents to bring their sand bags to the Pierre Ménard ecocentre, during regular hours.
It should be noted that municipal crews will not dismantle any dikes.
Recognized for its quality of life, Gatineau is a city of 298,000 inhabitants. It is located on the north shore of the Ottawa River, and extends east and west of the Gatineau River.
