Ban on garage sales due to COVID-19

Gatineau, May 8, 2020. – In order to comply with the measures aimed at limiting the propagation of COVID-19, Gatineau must ban garage sales until further instructions from the public health authorities: garage sales are considered outdoor gatherings by the Direction de la santé publique. The prohibition against gatherings and physical distancing measures imposed by the Province is still in effect.

Gatineau urges residents not to discard objects and clothes that are in good condition. The DTRITUS search tool and the Green Directory recommend good ways to dispose of them ecologically.
