Preventive Boil Water Advisory for part of Masson-Angers Sector

Gatineau, May 18, 2023. – Ville de Gatineau is issuing a preventive boil water advisory for approximately 200 homes in the Masson-Angers sector. This preventive boil water advisor is being issued following a break in the water system. The advisory will remain in effect until lifted.

Perimeter of the advisory

The affected residences are located on the following streets:
– Rue de Kamouraska;
– Rue du Caire;
– Rue la Québécoise;
– Rue de l'Arizona;
– Rue d'Albion;
– Rue de Condé;
– Impasse de Boussac;
– Rue de Courbevoie;
– From 1250 to 1503 chemin Montréal Ouest.

If you are in the area affected by the preventive boil water advisory

Affected individuals and establishments will be required to boil their water for one minute before consumption until the advisory is lifted.
After the precautionary boil water advisory is lifted, you will need to:
– Open all cold water faucets and let the water run for one minute or until it becomes cold before using it. The same should be done for water fountains;
– Discard any ice that was made with the water while the advisory was in effect;
