Gatineau, May 11, 2012. – Ville de Gatineau wishes to inform the public that it will be closing the des Pionniers and Vanier pathways for repairs and asphalting starting on May 14, 2012, for four weeks.
Closures between 7 a.m. and 5:30 p.m. Sentier des Pionniers (from rue Beaulac to boulevard des Grives)
Sentier Vanier (from boulevard des Allumettières to boulevard du Plateau)
Sentier des Pionniers will be closed in sections, and there will be detours. However, both pathways will be open evenings and weekends as the work progresses.
The work schedule may be revised depending on weather conditions.
Gatineau invites users of the pathways to allow more time for their travels, to adapt their route, to be cautious and to comply with the temporary signs to this effect.
