Gatineau, October 28, 2013. – Gatineau would like to remind residents that the municipal election will be taking place on Sunday, November 3, between 10 a.m. and 8 p.m.

Every elector whose name appears on the list of electors will have received a reminder notice indicating the electoral district, voting station location, and polling subdivision number.

To help speed things up and make the process go more efficiently, Gatineau invites electors to bring this card as well as one of the following valid IDs:

• a Quebec driver's licence or probationary licence;
• a Quebec health insurance card;
• a Canadian passport;
• a Status Indian certificate issued to persons registered in the Indian Register under the Indian Act; or
• a Canadian Forces ID card, issued to personnel by the Department of National Defence (Order CFAO 26-3).

Anyone who is unable to vote on November 3 has the option of voting in the offices of the returning officer on October 28 or 29 between 9 a.m. and 9 p.m., or on October 30 between 9 a.m. and 2 p.m., at Maison du citoyen, 25 rue Laurier, salle Lafontaine, 1st floor.
