Gatineau, le 9 mai 2011. – La Ville de Gatineau remettra du compost gratuitement aux citoyens qui se présenteront à l'écocentre le 15 mai 2011 entre 9 h et 16 h.
Il suffira d'apporter sa pelle, ses contenants ou ses sacs. Un maximum de 200 litres sera accordé par foyer, soit environ la capacité de trois Bio-Bacs. En tout, on prévoit en distribuer 75 000 litres. On distribuera le compost jusqu'à l'épuisement des stocks.
Ce compost de très bonne qualité a été produit à partir des matières compostables collectées dans les Bio-Bacs depuis l'implantation du service en mai 2010.
