Valve replacement at the water treatment plant in the Gatineau sector

Gatineau, October 20, 2020. – Gatineau is notifying residents in the Gatineau sector that they may experience a drop in water pressure on October 20 and 21. An isolation valve is being replaced at the water treatment plant in that sector.

At a glance

While the work is underway, residents may notice a drop in pressure or murkiness in the water. However, it will still be safe to drink.
The work will begin at 8 p.m. on October 20 and end at 8 p.m. on October 21.
This will be the first of two interventions under this project. Work on the valve replacement will resume on October 27.
