Reminder: deferral of the second property tax instalment until August 31, 2020

Gatineau, June 22, 2020. – Ville de Gatineau is reminding residents that the deadline for the second instalment of property taxes has been deferred until August 31, 2020 because of the COVID-19 pandemic. However, payments can always be made anytime beforehand.


Quick facts

Several payment options are available to property owners:
‒ online or by phone through their financial institution;
‒ through Gatineau's pre-authorized tax payment program (go to gatineau.ca for the form);
‒ through PostelMC;
‒ at a financial institution teller or ATM; or
‒ by mail, using the voucher and return envelope;
New property owners who do not yet have a tax account should immediately contact Gatineau at 819-243-2400.
