Missing Person Advisory: Jean-Louis Desrosiers

Gatineau, August 20, 2020. – The Service de police de la Ville de Gatineau (SPVG) is asking the public for its assistance in locating Jean-Louis Desrosiers, 79, who has been missing since August 18.

Quick facts

Mr. Desrosiers was last seen on August 18 at around 1 p.m. as he was leaving his home in the Carrefour-de-l'Hôpital district in the Gatineau sector to run some errands.
Mr. Desrosiers was in his vehicle, a dark gray Hyundai Elantra 2009 with Quebec licence plate Y54 KPQ.
Mr. Desrosiers may be disoriented, in which case he could be asking people to help him find his way home.
The SPVG has reason to fear for the health and safety of the 79-year-old man, and hopes to locate him to ensure his well-being.
Description of Mr. Desrosiers:

- Caucasian;
- 1.68 m (5 feet, 6 inches) tall;
- short white hair;
- mustache;
- brown eyes;
- French-speaking;
- scar on his left hand;
- when last seen, he was wearing a white T-shirt with the Boston Bruins logo.
The SPVG is pursuing its efforts to locate Mr. Desrosiers.
