Gatineau, February 7, 2013. – Ville de Gatineau is issuing a preventive boil water advisory for the Gatineau sector as a result of work being done on the water supply system to hook up the current system with a new water reservoir. This advisory is in effect immediately.

The area in question is roughly as follows:
• All residences in Limbour and Touraine located north of avenue Gatineau, ending at the limit of Cantley, are affected, as well as all residences located in the trailer park south of avenue Gatineau.

The boiling water advisory exclude:
• Rues Nantel, Tellier, Lusignan, de Colbert and Lenoir, as well as Saint-Louis between civic numbers 1895 and 2187 inclusively.

Therefore until further notice, before consuming your water please boil it for one minute. Tap water may be slightly discoloured. If so, please open the cold water tap and let the water run until it is once again clear.

Ville de Gatineau will notify residents as soon as the preventive boil water advisory has been lifted.
