TRAFFIC LIGHT REPLACEMENT AT THE CORNER OF MONTCALM AND WELLINGTON
Gatineau, October 31, 2011. – Ville de Gatineau wishes to inform the public that the traffic lights at the corner of Montcalm and Wellington are going to be replaced as part of the rue Montcalm (Hull sector) infrastructure and revitalization work.
The work will begin on Tuesday, November 1, at 9 a.m., and will be completed in approximately six weeks. Temporary stop signs will be installed at this intersection, and signalmen will direct traffic during the morning and evening rush hours. The new traffic lights will be in operation by mid-December.
It should be noted that the timeline for the municipal road works may be revised based on weather conditions while they are underway.
