PREVENTIVE BOIL WATER ADVISORY LIFTED FOR THE
BUCKINGHAM SECTOR

Gatineau, July 15, 2011. – Ville de Gatineau would like to inform residents that the boil water advisory issued on July 13, 2011 for the Gatineau sector is now lifted.

Analyses of the samples indicate that the water is good and meets all of the quality standards for drinking water.

You should now:

• Open all cold water taps (sinks and water fountains) and let the water run for one minute or until cold before using it; and
• Discard any ice that was made using water coming through the taps during the boil water advisory.

The citizens who did receive a notification by phone will be contacted again to be notified that the preventive boil water has been lifted. This operation could take a few hours but the boil advisory is lifted now.

Gatineau officials thank you for your usual cooperation.

Information: 3-1-1.
