Special collections of bulky items and construction residues planned for February 13, 14 and 15 are postponed

Gatineau, February 11, 2019. – Due to weather conditions, some special collections of bulky items and construction residues are postponed. The collections scheduled for February 13, 14 and 15 are postponed to February 27 and 28, and March 1, 2019.


Quick facts

Special collections scheduled for February 11 and 12 and the week of February 18 are maintained.
Regular collections of garbage, recycling and composting are maintained as planned.
Between special collections, citizens can still bring their bulky items to the waste transfer centre.
Citizens can also bring construction residues free of charge to ecocentres.
- Remember that ecocentres are now open year-round.
It is easy to dispose of recyclable or reusable bulky items such as appliances and electronic products. Citizens only have to dial 311 to request a collection at home.
