Preventive boil water advisory in the Hull sector
Gatineau, November 3rd 2022. – Ville de Gatineau is issuing a preventive boil water advisory for approximately 1 500 users in the Hull sector. This preventive boil water advisory is being issued due to a water main break on St-Joseph Boulevard. The advisory is in effect until further notice.

The residences and businesses affected are located: - South of Alonzo-Wright bridge; - East of Impasse du Sillon; - North of Jean-Proulx traffic circle; - West of St-Joseph Boulevard.

The area also includes the Domaine du Vieux-Port along the Gatineau river.
If you are in the area affected by the boil water advisory
●
Affected residents and institutions must boil their water for one minute before consuming it.
●
Please continue to do so until Gatineau lifts the preventive boil water advisory.

After the preventive boil water advisory is lifted: - open all cold water taps and let the water run for one minute or until it is cold, and do the same for all water fountains; and - toss out any ice made with tap water during the advisory. - for additional information: gatineau.ca or 311.
