Boil water advisory for boulevard Labrosse area lifted

Gatineau, October 25, 2017. – Gatineau has now lifted the boil-water advisory for boulevard Labrosse in the Gatineau sector. Tests indicate that the water is now safe to consume.


Quick facts

Residents affected by the lifting of the boil-water advisory should now
‒ open all cold water taps and let the water run for one minute or until it is cold before using it;
‒ follow the same procedure with water fountains;
‒ Throw out any ice that was made while the boil-water advisory was in effect.
An advisory was issued on October 20 due to repairs to a culvert in the boulevard Labrosse area.
Affected residents will be directly notified of the lifted boil water advisory.
