Boil water advisory in parts of Hull sector lifted

Gatineau, June 3, 2016. – Gatineau has now lifted the boil water advisory for parts of the Hull sector. Tests indicate that the water is now safe to consume.


Quick facts

Open all cold water taps and let the water run for one minute or until it is cold before using it.
Follow the same procedure with the water fountains.
Throw out any ice that was made while the boil water advisory was in effect.
An advisory was issued on May 31 after scheduled replacement work on waterworks valve.
Affected residents will be directly notified.
