Partial lifting of the preventive boil water advisory for Hull sector

Gatineau, November 12, 2022. – Ville de Gatineau informs residents that the preventive boil water advisory issued on November 10, 2022, for the Hull sector has been partially lifted.

  • The preventive boil water advisory remains in effect for citizens located:
    - North of Highway 5;
    - East of Promenade de la Gatineau from Riel Boulevard;
    - West of Saint-Joseph Boulevard;
    - South of the Municipality of Chelsea boundary.
  • The area that is still affected by the preventive boil water advisory can be seen at the end of this release (area in red).
  • The preventive boil water advisory has been lifted for residents south of Highway 5 (green area on the map).

Residents affected by the lifting of the preventive boil water advisory should turn on all taps and let the water run for one minute or until it gets cold before using it. The same procedure should be followed for drinking fountains and any ice made during the advisory period should be discarded.
