Lifting of the preventive boil water advisory for part of Masson-Angers area

Gatineau, June 3th, 2022. – The preventive boil water advisory for a part of the Masson-Angers area is now partielly lifted. Analyses and tests confirm that the water is safe to consume.


Quick facts

  • Tap water may be consumed in all homes other than those on the following address :
    -116 à 148 rue de la Forteresse;
    -521 du Progrès;
    -915 Montréal O.
  • Affected residents should open all taps and let the water run for one minute or until it runs cold because using it.
  • The same procedure must be followed for water fountains, and any ice that was made during the advisory should be discarded.
  • Gatineau will inform the public as soon as the water can once again be consumed within the affected perimeter.
