Suspect to be identified in a shoplifting investigation

Gatineau, December 20, 2017. – The Service de police de la Ville de Gatineau (SVPG) is seeking the public's help in identifying a man suspected of shoplifting.


Quick facts

In the fall of 2017, in two separate incidents, three suspects managed to distract employees in two Sports Experts / Atmosphère stores and to steal several Arc'teryx brand jackets.
Two individuals were arrested in connection with these shoplifting incidents: John Borrens, 44 years of age, and Ashley Sharon Robillard, 29 years of age.
The two persons arrested are Ottawa residents.
The third accomplice remains to be identified (photo).

Any person with information that could help identify the third suspect in this investigation or concerning the events is asked to contact the SPVG by calling 819-243-INFO (4636), option 5.
