Mustapha Chadid has long been fascinated by the world of machines and mechanical contraptions. In this exhibition, he explores the relationship between human and technological evolution. Will the machines of tomorrow be capable of understanding and making choices? Will they be able to mingle with the living and assume their shape? In this project, the artist focuses on the technological evolution that is aimed at improving our ''reality''. But he also invites us to reflect on the longer-term impacts of this unsettling development: can such progress be double-edged?

The Montcalm Gallery will be exceptionally open at the same hours as the Salon du livre de l'Outaouais.
