Municipal Council meetings will continue to take place, but the public sessions will temporarily not be accessible to residents. They will be aired live or in recorded version.

The Residents' question period is still on the agenda of all Municipal Council meetings, but will be handled differently. Anyone with questions for the Municipal Council should submit them before 12 p.m. the day before the meeting. Any question received after noon will be put on the next Council meeting's agenda.

Municipal Council members

Gatineau's Municipal Council comprises the Mayor and 18 city councillors, each representing an electoral district. They represent residents, and serve as legislators and administrators. The members of the Municipal Council meet regularly in Council meetings and on different committees. They sit three times a month as a Plenary Committee.
