Update on flooding: Water levels are currently receding
Gatineau, May 9, 2025. – According to the latest update by the Ottawa River Regulation Planning Board (ORRPB), water levels and flows are expected to remain stable or decrease slightly over the coming week. Gatineau reminds shoreline property owners to remain vigilant and to keep protection measures in place under further notice.

Water levels have been down today in every location.
Sandbags are no longer available at parc du Lac-Beauchamp. Shoreline property owners are asked to contact the Non-urgent call centre (3-1-1) if they require more.
Municipal crews are continuing to monitor the situation and remain attentive to the needs of affected residents.
Residents requiring a proof of claim for their employer or insurer can request one from Gatineau.
Residents are invited to check gatineau.ca/crue or to call 3-1-1 for additional information.
